This is my exiled daimyo from a Pathfinder Rise of the Runelords campaign I played last year. Shika was a young daimyo when she and the other samurai of her clan led a suicidal charge with the intent of providing cover for most of the rest of the clan to escape the oni-ruled Empire to head into hiding. Somehow she managed to survive, though her clan's katana, a lesser artifact that allowed her to fight on level with her soldiers despite her youth, was lost, presumably destroyed. She traveled as a mercenary for sometime afterwards before stumbling into the events at the beginning of the Runelords campaign. The GM kept wishing we had decided to play Jade Empire instead. Shika proved to be a somewhat reckless character and prone to what seemed a deathwish. At one point she had contact with her tiefling sister and her attendants and formed a plan with the attendants to continue to act as a decoy while they trained her sister Aki to lead the clan. Shika eventually took mastery of a fort in the mountains as well as a force of mostly rangers. One of her followers was a miko (Witch) to one of the Asian themed gods of Pathfinder (forget which one) and was using shapeshifting magic to portray a non-existent brother and woo Shika. By the end of the campaign the results of that were undetermined.

Shika specialized in using intimidation and power attack to deal maximum possible damage though she often required heavy support from healers to survive her reckless actions. Probably her most infamous action was in making sure an enemy which was feather falling from the top of a clock tower did not escape by jumping out and stabbing her on the way down...and then riding the feather falling corpse to the ground. She also tended to use her engineering skill to find gaps in walls through which to attack monologuing enemies.

Incidentally, that's a no-daichi, Shika is close to six feet tall. Realistically they were only used for a small portion of history mostly as cavalry weapons, but this is fantasy.
