The Goddesses are a unit of covert operatives trained and maintained by NAMA (the North American Military Alliance). Their mandate was to establish mercenary units which could be used as agents by NAMA with only minimal connection to the parent organization.

The cover of the collective agency was born circa 2030 and now most of the Goddess agents are independents or freelance.

Sgt Genevive Robles (right) codename: Tlazolteotl, works for Parole Officer Eric Novac and helps him keep an eye on the parolee Lucretia, a superhuman "peak", eventually becoming something like a surrogate sister or mother to the younger woman.

Sgt Karen Jasthi (left) codename: Kali, is an independent mercenary and criminal and is rumored to be behind the infamous Mumbai Sunrise that happened in 2031.
